Rod Snyder: Music

Other Side of Tomorrow

(Rod Snyder)
The road to somewhere was a dead end street. The path to a future was lined with defeat. What I thought I needed. I wished I deserved. My castle on a hilltop was someone elses world. Now I'm miles away---it was once within reach. Ive journeyed so far, but there's nothing to keep.

When I told you that is all I have to offer, as far as I know that is true. Somewhere on the other side of tomorrow, I hope I can find hope renewed.

Paint your picture in a golden frame. The canvass dries---no one knows your name. The moon's getting dimmer. The wind's getting cold. A forgotten destination, and I'm growing old. Who traded my life for a cheap thrill or two? I woke up today, but there's nothing to do.

When I told you that is all I have to offer, as far as I know that is true. Somewhere on the other side of tomorrow, I hope I can find hope renewed.

Tomorrow is gone now there's only today. I try to explain, but there's nothing to say.

When I told you that is all I have to offer, as far as I know that is true. Somewhere on the other side of tomorrow, I hope I can find hope renewed.
