The Last Snow

(Rod Snyder)
The snow is falling, like so many times before. Those winter memories so quickly shattered on the floor. Wish for days gone by, wish for sweet repose. The innocence of youth has come to a close.

The sun rises. The sun sets. But our hearts will never forget. The laughter of children seems so long ago. The children are silent. Its the last snow.

The snow is falling white as the dress she would have worn. But winters beauty disguises all the lives its torn. Happily ever after, so the story goes. The innocence of youth has come to a close.

The sun rises. The sun sets. But our hearts will never forget. The laughter of children seems so long ago. The children are silent. Its the last snow.
